Vishay is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. TTI, Inc. is the world’s leading authorized distributor specialist offering interconnect, passive, electromechanical, and discrete components.
The TTI Supplier Excellence Awards program centers on quality measurements that include on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer quality, administrative quality, sales support, and business systems. Winners are determined by performance points for these criteria. This is the third year in a row that Vishay has won the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for Europe, earning Silver Level recognition.
The TTI Supplier Excellence Award for Europe was presented to Vishay on July 2 at TTI’s German office in Maisach-Gernlinden, near Munich. Present at the award presentation were Glyn Dennehy, Geoff Breed, Joerg Frodl, Felix Corbett, and Markus Walz from TTI and Sieglinde Janker-Buecherl, Olaf Luethje, Gerhard Speidel, Philippe Masson, and Doris Hilbert from Vishay.
“Our Supplier Excellence Awards are based on a number of rigorously monitored parameters,” said Geoff Breed, VP of marketing, TTI Europe. “Therefore, they are a real indicator of the part that suppliers play in helping us deliver excellent service to our customers. Vishay scored highly in all categories, emphasizing the high quality of the partnership our joint teams have forged. We congratulate everyone at Vishay who has contributed to the ongoing success of our program together.”
“Winning the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for the third year in a row is a true accomplishment,” said Philippe Masson, director of sales distribution, Europe, at Vishay. “I am very proud to receive this award on behalf of Vishay. It underscores the close partnership between Vishay and TTI. Without the hard work and dedication of Vishay staff and without their commitment to excellence, our winning of this award would not have been possible. I thank them, and I thank all their counterparts at TTI.”
