Two Bit Circus (2BC), an engineering entertainment company that is reimagining the world of play, took home the Best Bootstrap Award at the second annual SXSW V2Venture’s pitch competition, that took place on July 16, 2014 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

“We've done over 4M in revenue to date without raising a cent,” said Eric Gradman, CTO and co-founder of Two Bit Circus. “It's all come from of the pockets of our happy customers. We're thrilled to be recognized for this accomplishment.”

Christine Herron (Intel Capital) emceed the competition along with three industry expert judges for each category.

Two Bit Circus is reimagining out-of-home entertainment and developing new platforms that seamlessly combine invention, performance, and media creation. These integrated platforms also provide a pathway for playful learning. STEAM Carnival is a 2BC production launching October 22nd in Los Angeles that connects games, fashion, and music with hands-on learning to inspire kids of all ages to pursue STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

“The caliber of finalists selected to participate in the second annual V2Venture pitch competition were not only outstanding, but innovative and clear leaders in their industries. We’re happy to provide a platform for these companies to take their products or services to the next level,” said SXSW V2Venture Event Producer, Chris Valentine.
