In her role, England will guide the agency’s operations, strategically develop new integrated services to drive agency growth and head up hiring, training and mentoring. England will work out of and oversee the day-to-day management of Method’s burgeoning San Francisco office.

“Heather can write her own ticket anywhere, which is why we’re extremely honored she chose to join forces with Method,” said David Parkinson, CEO and co-founder of Method. “Having helped build one of the leading tech PR firms at OutCast, Heather is a phenomenal talent whose expertise and experience will prove invaluable in enabling Method to pursue a similar trajectory of success. With Heather at the helm of our San Francisco office, we will be able to achieve a level of operational excellence and efficiency that will allow Method to continue its aggressive growth path.”

With more than 15 years of leadership experience in operations, England is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of developing highly efficient business processes, assembling high-performing teams and building dynamic brands and cultures. As executive vice president, head of human resources and operations, she led OutCast’s human resources and administrative teams across its San Francisco and New York offices.

“Method breaks the PR agency mold with its approach and culture,” said England. “The team has crafted a collaborative agency with strategic, smart thinkers who are zeroed in on delivering outstanding results. The media landscape has continued to undergo dramatic change since my time at OutCast, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to build something special again with this group.”

England’s addition is the latest milestone in Method’s banner 2014 year. In February, the agency expanded into San Francisco and has since signed a number of innovative technology companies, including Databricks, DigitalOcean and ZenPayroll. It also orchestrated the launch of Silicon Valley camera innovator Lytro’s LYTRO ILLUM, which generated more than 3 billion impressions from more than 1,000 original stories in the first week. In mid-July, Method acquired boutique PR agency Kindling Communications and opened an LA office, where Kindling founder Carolyn Guss serves as general manager. Method is approaching 50 total employees.
