GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
Canadian Heritage has unveiled the 2014 Plaza Bridge Photo Exhibit. This year's exhibit commemorates the 75th Anniversary of The Response, the National War Memorial.
Eighteen large scale images-chosen to represent the development, construction, and significance of the National War Memorial-will be showcased in the heart of the nation's capital until mid-October.
Situated on the Plaza Bridge in Confederation Square, one of the Capital's busiest pedestrian corridors, this outdoor photo exhibition will offer thousands of visitors a unique portrait of Canada's formal place of commemoration and remembrance.
-- British sculptor Vernon March won the 1925 international competition to create the National War Memorial. -- It was officially unveiled by His Majesty King George VI on May 21, 1939, in front of an estimated crowd of 100,000 people who gathered to witness the ceremony. -- Entitled The Response, the National War Memorial is a tribute to the Canadians who have, since the First World War, answered the call to serve. It stands in Confederation Square, in the heart of downtown Ottawa. -- The Plaza Bridge Photo Exhibit program was initiated in 2005 to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Every year since then, during the summer months, important Canadian milestones and anniversaries are recognized and celebrated at this location through photographs.
"Through this exhibit, Canadians and visitors are invited to discover the story of our National War Memorial and learn how this gathering place, where people can remember those who have served and sacrificed for our nation, has transformed the heart of Canada's capital."

The more business becomes digital the more stakeholders are interested in this data including how it relates to business. Some of these people have never used a monitoring tool before. They have a question on their mind like “How is my application doing” but no id...
