Magnum Hunter Resources to Host an Annual Investor Day on July 30, 2014

HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 07/29/14 -- Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (NYSE: MHR) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRC) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRD) (NYSE MKT: MHR.PRE) ("Magnum Hunter" or the "Company") announced today that the Company will host its second annual "Investor Day" for equity analysts and certain large institutional shareholders on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in Nassau, The Bahamas.

At the Investor Day, the Company will provide a specific operational overview, discuss its recent drilling and lease acquisition activities in the Utica Shale, Marcellus Shale and Williston Basin/Bakken Shale, review its midstream growth and operations, oilfield service operations, proved and resource potential reserves, review the status of recent and planned non-core asset divestitures, discuss the Company's current and year-end production outlook, and provide a financial projection and overview.
