On July 10, 2014 a report released by Bleecker Street Research alleged that China XD Plastics' revenue and net income for fiscal years 2010, 2011, and 2012 claimed in its Chinese regulatory filings are materially smaller than its fillings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
