British Columbia Peoples Party (BCPP) president Vikram Bajwa, condemns Premier Christy Clark's letter to a Jewish-Canadian advocacy group, in which she says the "BC Province can be counted as a friend", of Israel, in support of its war in Gaza. The Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs, at Temple Sholom synagogue in Vancouver was the venue of the support letter, handed to Darren Mackoff, director of Jewish Affairs.
"This is in violation of the CRA Charitable status of the Temple Sholom Synangogue, including conflict in Federal and Provincial Foreign affairs," said BCPP Secretary Jonathan Rogers. No Temple, Church, Masjid or Gurudwara can conduct political lectures, under the CRA guidelines in British Columbia, Canada. Premier Clark has once again endorsed the happenings of the dark period of history of British Columbia, on Chinese Head tax and Sikh-Komagata Maru, despite issuing apologies in Victoria.
