As a result of ongoing legalization throughout the United States for medical marijuana, BG Medical Technologies (OTC:RIGH) and its forthcoming subsidiary Genius Biotech Corporation are developing training materials for physicians interested in learning more about recommending medical marijuana as part of health treatment programs. The planned materials are to include strain-specific medicinal qualities as well as cannabinoid interactions. The available materials will include access to free online resources designed to help physicians best match remedies to their patients’ ailments.
A leader in online medical marijuana information, BG Medical plans to expand its online tools into materials for future medical marijuana doctors and caregivers. The materials will be made available both by website and distributable e-reader PDF formats.
CEO Angel Stanz explains, “The wide array of cannabis strains available in the marketplace today creates confusion. This chaos is compounded in emerging markets due to a lack of local expertise. BG Medical believes that a quantitative data and laboratory-based approach is needed to resolve these early market struggles. BudGenius.com has been collecting strain information and patient feedback from as early as 2010. Our aim is to become the Physician’s Desk Reference (PDR) for strain-specific, grower-specific, and even harvest-specific treatments. In an emerging cannabis market, this is a doctor’s best friend.”
BG Medical expects other reputable companies within matured medical marijuana regions to join in the development of these free resources to help ensure that the training is helpful and comprehensive.
Mr. Stanz continued, “In addition to this being a valuable resource for recommending physicians, this is also an organic marketing format for brands and personnel with an authentic interest in medical efficacy to expand themselves into new markets with a professional caring-forward position.”
To pre-register for the educational program materials, physicians and staff should email their name, title, type of practice or specialty, clinic and/or treatment facility name, and state where licensed to: [email protected].
