"My father would be proud to be part of such a collaborative initiative celebrating the fandom of his legacy."

Additionally, the campaign will incorporate various initiatives leading up to the 50th anniversary including Star Trek themed Qwizards, a collaborative quiz show testing Wikians' expert knowledge; a character bracket tournament featuring Star Trek's classic personalities; a fan film contest; showcases with celebrity talent; and more.

"This is a huge opportunity for us to take Wikia's fandom one step further and really have our Star Trek superfans be part of such a memorable moment in time," stated Eric Moro, Wikia Director of Programming, Entertainment.
