NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 04, 2014) - The HD PENTAX-DA645 28-45mm F4.5 ED AW SR is the first ultra-wide-angle zoom lens in the 645-system lens lineup that can be used on both 645Z and 645D cameras. This is ideal for landscape photography, where delicate angle-of-view adjustments can be difficult due to the restricted footing, and for architectural photography requiring a wide angle of view despite the close distance to the subject. Read all about the Pentax HD PENTAX-DA645 28-45mm f/4.5 ED AW SR lens here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1072808-REG/pentax_hd_pentax_da645_28_45mm_f_4_5.html
High-performance Super-wide Zoom
Covers super-wide angle of 22-35.5mm equivalent to 35mm format
Internal Shake-reduction Mechanism
PENTAX provides shake reduction feature for medium-format cameras. Compensates for camera shake up to approximately 3.5 shutter steps
Dustproof, Weather-resistant Construction
By mounting the HD Pentax-DA645D lens onto a PENTAX 645D and 645Z, the user is assured of greater durability and reliability when shooting in the rain or mist, as well as at locations subject to spray or splashes.
HD Coating and Aero Bright Coating
Delivering sharp, clear images, free of flare and ghosting, even under demanding lighting conditions such as backlight.
High Effectiveness of Lens Hood
The newly developed lens hood is designed based on the size of 645Z and 645D image circle. This maximizes the effectiveness of the lens hood even with wide angle lens. The Pentax HD PENTAX-DA645 28-45mm F4.5 ED AW SR lens's front frame extends to its maximum length at the 28mm setting, and retracts to its shortest length at the 45mm setting. This makes Lens hood work quite effectively over the entire zoom range.
High Compatibility with Multiple Filters
You can attach the filter at the lens front. This allows the user to select from the many kinds of filters available in the market. The size is 82mm. Since the first lens element of ultra-wide-angle lenses is usually highly convex, most ultra-wide-angle lenses can't accept a filter.
In-lens DC Motor
Smooth, quiet AF operation using a lens-installed AF driving motor. DC motor provided sufficient drive torque and driving speed with minimal noise
Circular Aperture Blades
Round-shaped diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh (blur) effect, while minimizing the streaking effect of point light sources.
Quick Focus System
The lens features the Quick-Shift Focus System, which allows the user to instantly switch to manual-focus operation after the subject is captured in focus by the camera's AF system.
SP (Super Protect) coating to keep the front surface free of dust and stains.

In the midst of the widespread popularity and adoption of cloud computing, it seems like everything is being offered “as a Service” these days: Infrastructure? Check. Platform? You bet. Software? Absolutely. Toaster? It’s only a matter of time. With service providers positioning vastly differing offerings under a generic “cloud” umbrella, it’s all too easy to get confused about what’s actually being offered. In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Kevin Hazard, Director of Digital Content for SoftL...

The cloud has transformed how we think about software quality. Instead of preventing failures, we must focus on automatic recovery from failure. In other words, resilience trumps traditional quality measures. Continuous delivery models further squeeze traditional notions of quality. Remember the venerable project management Iron Triangle? Among time, scope, and cost, you can only fix two or quality will suffer. Only in today's DevOps world, continuous testing, integration, and deployment upend...

Manufacturing has widely adopted standardized and automated processes to create designs, build them, and maintain them through their life cycle. However, many modern manufacturing systems go beyond mechanized workflows to introduce empowered workers, flexible collaboration, and rapid iteration. Such behaviors also characterize open source software development and are at the heart of DevOps culture, processes, and tooling.

DevOps tends to focus on the relationship between Dev and Ops, putting an emphasis on the ops and application infrastructure. But that’s changing with microservices architectures. In her session at DevOps Summit, Lori MacVittie, Evangelist for F5 Networks, will focus on how microservices are changing the underlying architectures needed to scale, secure and deliver applications based on highly distributed (micro) services and why that means an expansion into “the network” for DevOps.
