VIENNA, Va., Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Navy Federal Credit Union was recently named one of the Best Companies to Work For in Florida for the sixth consecutive year. Florida Trend magazine ranked Navy Federal #26 in the large employer category. The Best Companies to Work For award recognizes Florida-area companies that offer innovative perks, benefits and incentives, while empowering its staff to achieve excellence.
"With over 3,700 employees and 22 branches in Florida, it is an honor to be chosen as a best employer," said Debbie Calder, senior vice president, Greater Pensacola Operations. "Growing throughout Florida has been a terrific experience for Navy Federal. Our employees are our most valuable resources – without them we couldn't win this achievement."
Florida Trend and Best Companies Group created the Best Companies to Work For in Florida program, which is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey and analysis, and determined the final rankings.

And when all my friends go outside without me, I may be left behind. Don't just log my data; use the relationship graph. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Ryan Boyd, Engi...
