LOS ANGELES, Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In celebration of its 30th anniversary as the nation's foremost and most widely respected professional association for Latinos in communications, the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) today announced its call for entries for the 2014 National ¡BRAVO! Awards.
Now in its 7th year, the "Campaign of the Year" awards program has a brand new name and look.
"As the organization continues its expansion with new chapters and members across key U.S. markets, the national board felt it imperative to rebrand the program to reflect that growth," said HPRA National President Stephen Chavez. "The National ¡BRAVO! Awards celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, and non-profit PR teams, and the breakthrough work they produced during the entry period."
There are only 12 categories available to enter, so each one is priceless and the winners are immediately seen as leaders in the industry. Categories include: Technology, Healthcare/Nutrition, Fashion & Beauty, Food & Beverage, Public Education, Sports, New Product/Service Launch, Pro-Bono, One-time Media Event, Integrated Marketing, Non-profit, and Digital/Social Media.
How to Enter
The entry process is easy as all materials are now submitted digitally. Awards categories are open to all public relations, advertising, and marketing agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations and/or practitioners who practice in the United States, including Puerto Rico.
Entries will be judged by an unaffiliated panel of senior public relations professionals from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami, representing industry national organizations and trade publications. Entrants will be notified of results by mid-September. Awards winners will recognized at HPRA's 30th Anniversary gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014.

We are always online. We access our data, our finances, work, and various services on the Internet. But we live in a congested world of information in which the roads were built two decades ago. The quest for better, faster Internet routing has been around for a decade, but nobody solved this problem. We’ve seen band aid approaches like CDNs that attack a niche's slice of static content part of the Internet, but that’s it. It does not address the dynamic services-based Internet of today. It doe...
