DEKRA North America (NA), Inc. today announced that David Henry has been promoted to the new role of Vice President, Automotive Solutions. In this role, Henry will be responsible for implementation and execution of strategic initiatives and will oversee profit and loss, business development, and the management team for DEKRA’s Automotive Performance Excellence and Solutions service lines, which comprise the Automotive Solutions group.
Previously, Henry served as Vice President of Consulting. He will be based in Atlanta and will report directly to Donald O. Nicholson, President and Chief Regional Officer of DEKRA NA. He will also serve as a member of the DEKRA Automotive North America executive team.
“Dave’s strong reputation and experience in the automotive industry make him a great asset to our customers, our employees and to the DEKRA brand,” said Nicholson. “He has the skills and vision to lead and grow our Automotive Solutions business, and we are very excited to have him take on this new role in our company.”
Henry has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, working directly with dealerships as well as with consulting firms, including MSX International, where he served as Vice President of North American Sales and Operations/ Global Chief Information Officer.
