ABEO biomechanical footwear Announces Tracy Sheffer as Vice President of Sales

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/05/14 -- ABEO biomechanical footwear, a leading comfort footwear brand, has announced the hire of industry veteran Tracy Sheffer as Vice President of Sales. In her new role, Sheffer will develop and execute the sales strategies and brand objectives for the newly launched ABEO wholesale program within specialty retail stores nationwide.

Sheffer brings over 30 years of experience in the performance, outdoor and active lifestyle industries with executive level sales management positions at high-profile footwear companies, including roles as Vice President of Sales for both H.S. Trask and Tommy Bahama Footwear-Specialty on behalf of the multi-brand Phoenix Footwear Group. Sheffer also spent over 12 years as owner and agency principal of TSA Sports Sales, a successful West Coast manufacturers' sales representative agency, having represented Merrell Footwear, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, for over nine years.

With a solid background and record success with various lifestyle and active footwear brands, Sheffer brings long-term retail relationships and a thorough knowledge of multi-channel sales distribution and management strategies, revenue-profitability standards, product assortment planning, and inventory forecasting, which will be crucial to further expand the success of ABEO footwear in new specialty retail channels, commencing with the spring 2015 collection.
