DETROIT, Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 10th Annual Detroit Uncorked will take place at The Westin Book Cadillac on September 26, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A collaboration with the Detroit Wine Organization, Detroit Uncorked has raised more than $530,000 for The Children's Center since its inception.
Detroit Uncorked is one of the region's largest wine tasting events, and this year will honor Newton Vineyard from St. Helena in the Napa Valley as Winery of the Year.
Ticket purchases include tastings from a selection of more than 250 wines, a strolling dinner, a silent auction and a chance to bid on several trip experiences for wine lovers and sports enthusiasts. Take advantage of the early purchase ticket price of $120 prior to September 1, 2014. The price will increase to $140 beginning September 2, 2014.
The evening's emcee is Jay Towers of Fox 2 News and Fresh 100.3 FM. Pato Margetic will headline the event's entertainment and the Daniree' Duo will also be performing.
To round out the evening, the Wine Lovers' Couple Overnight Package, which includes two Detroit Uncorked tickets with an overnight stay at The Westin Book Cadillac, is also available. The price is $380 per couple, and packages must be purchased by September 1, 2014.
