IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Jason Ellis (founder of Jason Ellis Photography), who's work has been featured on the covers of Muscle&Fitness and Oxygen and inside of Maxim, Elle and several bodybuilding and fitness magazines, was presented with the coveted award at the 2013 Orange County Fit Expo in Anaheim, CA last November.
Due to his success in the fitness photography industry, Jason Ellis has also been dubbed "King of Covers". His photographs of fitness models and professional bodybuilders have appeared on over 200 magazine covers to date. Jason Ellis has photographed some of the world's top fitness models and bodybuilders, including eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Colman, Jay Cutler, Greg Plitt, P90X creator Tony Horton, fitness guru Jennifer Nicole Lee and Instagram sensation Paige Hathaway.
Jason Ellis has been one of the most recognizable fitness photographers for over a decade. He is also well connected and has been able to provide further modeling opportunities for the clients who work with him. In addition to gracing hundreds of fitness magazine covers, his photographs have been featured in several advertisements for magazine and supplement companies.
So it comes as no surprise that Jason Ellis was awarded with the Photographer of the Decade as presented by Bodybuilding.com at last year's O.C. Fit Expo. His work in the fitness and bodybuilding industry is truly unmatched.
"I am convinced that certain people are created to do certain things in life. Jason's images and zeal for capturing them are unparalleled in the industry."
-Clark Bartram, "America's most trusted fitness professional"
"Who we are and where we've been in modeling, fitness and bodybuilding during the past decade, could only be because of your undying passion and purpose as the number one photographer of athletes. It is an honor to know a real live legend! This plaque belongs to a man who has shaped our lives and made us look great under those white hot lights."
-Mike Glass, O.C. Fit Expo
Ellis' latest project involves directing a movie entitled "The Perfect Physique," starring 4x Mr. Universe Mike O'Hearn along with an all-star cast of the World's Top Physique Competitors. The film is produced by renowned film producer Kandice King.
