MONTEREY, Calif., Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Insurance Group® (CIG) announced the appointment of Bernie Howes, the former Business Relationship Manager for Oregon since 2012, as Agency Development Manager for its Northwest Region. Howes is advancing to an expanded role overseeing business growth, recruitment and training for Oregon. CIG's Northwest Region encompasses the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah.

Prior to his assignment with CIG, Howes honed his insurance and management skills working in various roles for different insurance carriers. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing from Montana State University in Billings.
