SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - August 06, 2014) - PandaDoc, the leading online document creation, signature, and automation platform for businesses, yesterday announced that its Yammer application has been selected for inclusion in Yammer's Apps Directory. PandaDoc is the only forever-free (with social sharing) signature or document creation product on the Yammer platform.
The Apps Directory lets Yammer's nearly 10 million users access a curated list of Yammer-reviewed and approved third-party applications. PandaDoc is one of just two document creation and signature applications selected as partners for the Apps Directory and the only one that features hundreds of templates or a forever-free plan, with social share. Yammer users can download the PandaDoc app from the Yammer Apps Directory today.
"We've been Yammer users for years, so we're delighted to be added to the Yammer Apps Directory," said Mikita Mikado, CEO of PandaDoc. "Since we recently integrated Microsoft OneDrive into PandaDoc, it only made sense to give every Yammer user access to our library of hundreds of templates. Now they can save time creating, negotiating, and signing business documents. In the past they had to do with email and slow printers, but with Yammer and PandaDoc, they now get a solution that will be fully integrated with Office365 in the near future."
Yammer users can create a free PandaDoc account with a single click from the Apps Directory. In addition, all Yammer users can receive 50 free PandaDoc documents (worth $49) at no charge. Key features of the PandaDoc/Yammer integration include:
- Yammer contact sync: Yammer contacts are always synced to PandaDoc.
- Activity stream: Any activity on PandaDoc documents is synced to Yammer.
- OAuth: Get quick authentication for seamless access between Yammer and PandaDoc. Yammer users can log into PandaDoc with their Yammer ID.
- Holistic phonebook: All Yammer contacts, as well as contacts from other sources (Gmail, CRM systems, etc.), live inside PandaDoc. Yammer users can click through to any Yammer profile in-network, from PandaDoc.
"This integration is a great step in a relationship between PandaDoc and Microsoft," said Christina Fan, Business Development, Yammer. "Since Yammer has so many small business customers, PandaDoc is a natural fit. We're excited to share PandaDoc's collaborative template library with all of Yammer's users. PandaDoc took their time and built a sharp app that really exemplifies Yammer's app standards."
"We've been a PandaDoc partner from day one," said Joe Malcoun, CEO of Nutshell. "Now our customers on the Office365 platform and Yammer can experience great sales outcomes, save a ton of paper, and do it all without leaving their core Microsoft apps. Very exciting!"
