COLUMBIA, S.C., Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- MEDcare Urgent Care is pleased to announce its partnership with the National Healthcare Association (NHA) in order to advance the education and certification of our medical personnel. Dr. Pawlik, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, remarked that "one of our core values is the commitment to learn, grow, improve and repeat" and this partnership represents MEDcare putting its values in action. Today we are rolling out MEDcare University, a place where employees and team members will be enrolled to continue to pursue their medical education with the goal of national certification. "It's been a goal of ours to put this together for the last two years. It's the right thing to do for our people and for our patients" added Dr. Pawlik. "We are leveraging a nationally recognized platform and a state of the art training facility and Learning Management System, something no other Urgent Care operation is doing anywhere else in the country," said CEO Dr. Hallaba.
It is a huge financial investment which MEDcare believes will continue to propel the company as the #1 quality provider of Urgent Care in the state. Once completed, enrollees will be eligible for nationally recognized certification, programs that if pursued outside of this employee only program, could cost individuals anywhere from $16,000 - $25,000. This is a huge capital investment for MEDcare Urgent Care and senior leadership believes that "the ultimate beneficiaries of this will be the citizens of South Carolina including the members of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare, WorkComp, and private pay patients. "
"We're excited to offer this to our clinical partners. We have a cool mascot, a great platform, an energized training team and the goal is to make this fun, engaging and educational. We are really excited to roll this program out," said John Harrison, VP of Clinical Operations.
At MEDcare the experience is the difference and our goal is to provide every patient with an easy, awesome and affordable experience. Visit www.medcareurgentare.com for more information.

When it comes to IoT in the enterprise, namely the commercial building and hospitality markets, a benefit not getting the attention it deserves is energy efficiency, and IoT's direct impact on a cleaner, greener environment when installed in smart buildings. Until now clean technology was offered piecemeal and led with point solutions that require significant systems integration to orchestrate and deploy. There didn't exist a 'top down' approach that can manage and monitor the way a Smart Buildi...
