CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinisource, provider of industry-leading iSolved HCM technology, is excited to announce the iSolved Network, an elite membership program for service bureaus to be able to offer a cloud-based human capital management solution to their clients in addition to their traditional service offerings.

iSolved Network Unveiled

Infinisource presented the iSolved Network, including a selection of its Certified Partners, while exhibiting as a Platinum Sponsor at the Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA) Annual Conference in Huntington Beach, California.

Becoming an iSolved Network Certified Partner will put the service bureau on the leading edge of the HCM movement by providing small to midsized companies with a truly integrated solution. iSolved technology enables multiple functions on one platform including Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits Enrollment and HR. The iSolved Network also supplies marketing, sales and educational services to its members.

iSolved HCM technology is fully maintained by Infinisource and delivered in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Service bureaus will continue to control their own business and own their own customers, while responding to increasing customer demand for integrated HCM technology.

"The iSolved Network provides member service bureaus the ability to respond to their clients' needs of a truly integrated system that does more than payroll," said Lori Winters, President and CEO of Choice Payroll Inc., an iSolved Network Certified Partner.  "Choice Payroll joined the iSolved Network in order to provide comprehensive human capital management solutions that integrate business functions into a single source, automate procedures and save our clients money.  We believe integrated HCM solutions are rapidly replacing traditional payroll service applications."

The iSolved Network is strictly limited and requires all service bureaus to be certified upon acceptance of an application. The initial Tier 1 Certified Partner application window is open and will conclude by September 15, 2014.

It is one thing to build single industrial IoT applications, but what will it take to build the Smart Cities and truly society-changing applications of the future? Overgrown applications have given way to modular applications, driven by the need to break larger problems into smaller problems. Similarly large monolithic development processes have been forced to be broken into smaller agile development cycles. Looking at trends in software development, microservices architectures meet the same demands. Additional benefits of microservices architectures are compartmentalization and a limited impact of service failure versus a complete software malfunction. ...
Internet of Things is moving from being a hype to a reality. Experts estimate that internet connected cars will grow to 152 million, while over 100 million internet connected wireless light bulbs and lamps will be operational by 2020. Malicious agents are moving faster than the speed of business. Even more worrisome, most companies are relying on legacy approaches to security that are no longer capable of meeting current threats. In the modern cloud, threat diversity is rapidly expanding, necessitating more sophisticated security protocols than those used in the past or in desktop environments. Yet companies are falling for cloud security myths that were truths at one time but have evolved out of existence.
The cloud has transformed how we think about software quality. Instead of preventing failures, we must focus on automatic recovery from failure. In other words, resilience trumps traditional quality measures. Continuous delivery models further squeeze traditional notions of quality. Remember the venerable project management Iron Triangle? Among time, scope, and cost, you can only fix two or quality will suffer. Only in today's DevOps world, continuous testing, integration, and deployment upend...

The Internet of Things is not only adding billions of sensors and billions of terabytes to the Internet. It is also forcing a fundamental change in the way we envision Information Technology.
