in-building wireless, intelligent site management, cell site
optimization, and outside plant solutions, announced today that Mobility
Tech Zone, the leading website dedicated to the mobile broadband
industry, has recognized Westell’s tower mounted amplifiers (TMAs) as a

Westell TMAs enable mobile network operators to maximize their
investment in spectral assets while improving end user experience.
Westell TMAs improve the receiver sensitivity of the antenna system to
optimize the performance of the uplink; critical for ubiquitous coverage
in an LTE network. By improving the receiver sensitivity, the coverage
area of a macro cell site can be dramatically increased while
simultaneously increasing capacity; both in number or users and in
overall data throughput.
“Mobile network operators are focused on optimizing their radio access
networks to provide a high quality experience for end users,” said Chris
Shaver, Senior Vice President, Products for Westell. “Westell’s TMAs
provide the ideal solution to help mobile network operators extend the
reach of their networks and increase capacity. We are honored to be
recognized for these efforts by Mobility Tech.”
“Westell’s achievements in advancing 4G through LTE development is
impressive and as such selected as recipient of the Mobility Tech Zone
LTE Visionary Award,” said Carl Ford, co-founder and community
developer, Crossfire Media. “Westell is an innovator and one to watch
for the next evolution of solutions.”
“It is a pleasure to recognize Westell with this award. Their
contribution toward the future of mobile broadband is noteworthy,”
stated Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “I look forward to more innovation from
Westell in the future.”

I'm a lonely sensor. I spend all day telling the world how I'm feeling, but none of the other sensors seem to care.
I want to be connected. I want to build relationships with other sensors to be more useful for my human. I want my human to understand that when my friends next door are too hot for a while, I'll soon be flaming. And when all my friends go outside without me, I may be left behind.
Don't just log my data; use the relationship graph.
