VGTel Launches Motion Picture Scanning Services in Austin, Texas

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 08, 2014) - VGTel, Inc. - 360entertainmentandproductions.com (OTCQB: VGTL) announced the launch of its wholly owned subsidiary Motion Picture Scanning Services (MPSS) in the moviemaker-friendly community of Austin, Texas. The launch of MPSS is part of a planned series of strategic moves to help solidify VGTel's position as an industry front-runner in the development and distribution of cinematic content for the 4K Ultra High Definition broadcast market.

The MPSS studio is a world-wide resource for digital scanning of theatrical content from its original film format. The studio is a specially equipped laboratory capable of scanning giant screen 65/70mm film to a digital format and is also equipped to apply the same ultra-high resolution technology to the more mainstream 35mm and 16mm film formats. A custom-built computer server farm then renders the newly scanned films into 4K Ultra High Definition.

"MPSS gives us immediate strategic advantages in the exploding demand for Ultra HD 4K content, notably reduced labor, refined post-production processes, and swifter mobilization and deployment," said Greg Wells, CEO of VGTel, a multi-tiered international entertainment and media enterprise that primarily develops, finances, produces and distributes 4K UHD movie and film content.

Wells went on to add, "Our ability to create, acquire and distribute 4K content makes us an immediate solution for broadcasters and movie studios with libraries of content that are looking to leverage their existing film assets."

To Really Work for Enterprises, MultiCloud Adoption Requires Far Better and Inclusive Cloud Monitoring and Cost Management … But How? Overwhelmingly, even as enterprises have adopted cloud computing and are expanding to multi-cloud computing, IT leaders remain concerned about how to monitor, manage and control costs across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. Adding public cloud resources to an existing application can be a daunting process. The tools that you currently use to manage the software and hardware outside the cloud aren’t always the best tools to efficiently grow into the cloud. All of the major configuration management tools have cloud orchestration plugins that can be leveraged, but there are also cloud-native tools that can dramatically improve the efficiency of managing your application lifecycle. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, ...
When applications are hosted on servers, they produce immense quantities of logging data. Quality engineers should verify that apps are producing log data that is existent, correct, consumable, and complete. Otherwise, apps in production are not easily monitored, have issues that are difficult to detect, and cannot be corrected quickly. Tom Chavez presents the four steps that quality engineers should include in every test plan for apps that produce log output or other machine data. Learn the ste...
