BOHEMIA, N.Y., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Bellucci Premium knows how healthy extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is for consumers, which is why the oil producer offers multiple kinds of oil such as organic olive oil in its lineup of products.
There have been multiple chefs that have gone further than adding olive oil to lunch plates and dinner foods. Matter of fact, EVOO is so healthy, some have recommended adding it to breakfast foods as well.
Susan Testa, Director of Sales and Marketing for high-quality olive oil producer Bellucci Premium, adds her input, saying, "Extra virgin olive oil has true healthy advantages, and we have shared, highlighted and spread the word about the benefits for years. It may seem strange to add olive oil to food like cereal, but when a small amount of olive oil every day may help with cardiovascular disease, it's not so strange at all."
Some chefs have already moved to adding extra virgin olive oil to breakfast foods, even cereal. A chef and restaurateur Bruno Loubetat the Zetter hotel in London always adds olive oil to breakfast porridge along with honey and a layer of chopped garlic. Another is not even a chef but a New York Times columnist, Mark Bittman, who has been recommending adding olive oil to oatmeal for years.
Bellucci offers three different types of oil, including an organic option, with a mild peppery flavor and fruity undertones that will satisfy any palate. Bellucci Premium Toscano extra virgin olive oil uses olives that are grown on the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, and maintained by 3rd and 4th generation farmers. The third type of oil Bellucci produces is the finest 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, grown in many different regions of Italy.
