STOIK Soft now Enables Mobile Doc Scanner App for Intel® Atom™ Tablets for Android*

Users can now scan all their important papers with their mobile devices.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In an exciting announcement, STOIK Soft, the maker of the Mobile Doc Scanner (MDScan) app, revealed that its clever scanning application is now available on Intel® Atom™ tablets for Android*.  Users can now scan documents to high quality PDF or JPG format right on their high-resolution tablets.

The MDScan app allows easy transformation of documentation to PDF or JPG files for exporting, sharing, sending or archiving.  This app detects borders, corrects distortion and equalizes brightness to produce clear, legible images of all types of documents.  This also includes a useful batch capture mode that enables quick scan and transfer of multiple pages.  It even has an enhance option to sharpen poor quality originals.

This optimization simplifies the often-frustrating extra step of scanning and sending from a desktop device.  Android* users can quickly and easily convert important documents right on their high-definition, portable screens.  The Intel® Developer Zone made code, support and business resources available to the developers at STOIK Soft throughout the compatibility process.

"The MDScan app is a great tool for users who need to replicate or share important paperwork, "says Mike Kuznetsov, CEO of STOIK Soft. "The versatile, responsive Android* tablets take the hassle out of desktop scanning; the whole process just got simpler."

MDScan is available for immediate download on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stoik.mdscan
