Marina Del Rey Hospital Launches Podcast Series Featuring Health Tips From Top Doctors

'HealthCasts' Will Allow At-Home or On-the-Go Access to Tips and Information From Medical Experts

MARINA DEL REY, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/11/14 -- Marina Del Rey Hospital, a 145-bed acute care surgical hospital in the Greater Los Angeles area, is pleased to announce the debut of a new public education tool called "HealthCasts," an original podcast series featuring the doctors of Marina Del Rey Hospital. In each HealthCast, the doctors will share expert opinions on a range of medial topics. The first installment is available to watch at MarinaHospital.com, focusing on back and spine health and pain management.

The first series of HealthCasts will feature the renowned surgeons from the Marina Spine Center, Dr. Robert G. Watkins IV and Dr. David Chang. The Marina Spine Center is known for performing career-saving procedures and providing care to the top athletes across all major professional sports, and the doctors are proud to offer the same level of expert care to all patients who visit. Dr. Robert G. Watkins IV is co-director of the Marina Spine Center and Chairman of the Surgery Department at the Marina Del Rey Hospital, and Dr. David Chang is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in surgical treatment of spinal disorders.

Future HealthCast topics to be covered include weight loss, robotics and minimally invasive surgery, women's health and orthopedics, featuring doctors from each of those respective fields.
