Browns Restaurant Group Recruits Industry Veteran Dale Colbran to Pioneer Eastern Expansion

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/11/14 -- Browns Restaurant Group is pleased to announce another key player to their expanding team: Dale Colbran, Director of Business Development, Eastern Canada. In addition to driving multi-department leadership support for all programs in the market, Colbran will be responsible for spearheading the growth of Browns Socialhouse across Eastern Canada.

The first Browns Socialhouse is scheduled to open in Erin Mills, Ontario in October 2014.

Dale brings with him over 30 years of experience, a passion for operational excellence and a deep understanding of the casual dining business. His reputation for maximizing resources paired with his drive to deliver results has brought him success with many leading Canadian restaurant businesses. He's worked with brands such as Chili's, The Keg, Fuddruckers, Outback Steakhouse and has consulted for many other growing brands across Canada as well as the US, Russia, Africa, Kuwait, and Dubai.

Prior to joining Browns, Dale was active in several industry organizations including his tenure on the Board of Directors of the CRFA, which led to the position of Chairman. His position on the board equipped him with unparalleled access to politicians, business leaders and industry executives.
