Da-Les Auto Body is Celebrating Safety Awareness Month by Giving Away First Aid Kits

During the Month of August, Customers That Get their Vehicle Repaired at Da-Les and Share their Experience on Social Media will be Eligible for a Complimentary First Aid Kit

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Da-Les Auto Body, a full service auto body repair facility located in Sunnyvale, Calif., has just announced that they are celebrating Safety Awareness Month with a very special giveaway. Throughout the month of August, customers that bring in their vehicle for repair and share their experience via social media will be eligible for a free Red Cross first aid kit, while supplies last, limited quantity on hand.

As a new blog that was just posted on the company's website explains, the giveaway is just Da-Les's way of helping to make sure that their valued customers are prepared and safe no matter what life or the road can throw at them. The kit can be kept in a vehicle or camper, or can be part of a home emergency preparedness kit.

"At Da-Les Auto Body we believe that by encouraging safe and smart practices on the road and elsewhere, the odds of needing our services for your vehicle are greatly reduced," the new blog noted, adding that there is never a wrong place to practice good safety habits and awareness.

Because the owners of Da-Les understand that some people are allergic to latex, all of the contents of the first aid kit are latex-free.

"The free kit includes a first aid guide, bandages, tourniquets, a one-use breathing mask and much more—just about anything you might need in an emergency situation for basic first-aid, CPR and wound dressing," the new blog noted, adding that Da-Les chose to give away a kit designed by the Red Cross because of the organization's expertise and experience in emergency preparedness.

In addition to giving away the free first aid kits, Da-Les Auto Body would also like to celebrate Safety Awareness Month by encouraging people to participate in a local blood drive. Because, as everyone at Da-Les knows quite well, it is a lot easier to fix a broken vehicle than a broken person.
