VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/11/14 -- Cairo Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:QAI.H) ("Cairo" or the "Company") announces that Kal Malhi has resigned as CEO, President and director; Rauni Malhi has resigned as a director; and Michael Sadhra has resigned as CFO and Secretary. The Company further announces that Darryl Cardey has been appointed as CEO, CFO, President, Secretary and a director; and Darren Devine and Paul Reynolds have been appointed as directors of the Company. The current Board is now comprised of Darryl Cardey, Darren Devine, Paul Reynolds and Michael Sadhra.
The Company continues to pursue opportunities with a view to completing a Qualifying Transaction. The Company will be applying to the TSX Venture Exchange for resumption of trading and thereafter intends to do a consolidation of its outstanding share capital and a post-consolidated private placement, the details of which will be announced in due course.
