Free play qualifiers run four times a day on partypoker.net at 12.00 ET, 18.00 ET, 21.00 ET and 23.00 ET - the top three from each tournament win entry into two online satellites for two $5,000 packages that take place on September 14 and November 9. The packages include the US$3600 (CAN$3,850) entry plus US$1400 spending money.

In 2013, 30-year-old US air force pilot Derrick Rosenbarger took first place winning $500,824 CAD ($517,049 USD) with WPT Season XII Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja in second place, while in November 2012, 25-year-old Jonathan Roy from Boucheville, Quebec kept the title in his homeland by winning the inaugural event.
