OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 08/12/14 -- The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) today determined that there is a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of concrete reinforcing bar from the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Turkey have caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.
The Tribunal's inquiry was conducted pursuant to the Special Import Measures Act as a result of the initiation of dumping and subsidizing investigations by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). The CBSA will continue its investigations and, by September 11, 2014, will issue a preliminary determination.
The Tribunal is an independent quasi-judicial body that reports to Parliament through the Minister of Finance. It hears cases on dumped and subsidized imports, safeguard complaints, complaints about federal government procurement and appeals of customs and excise tax rulings. When requested by the federal government, the Tribunal also provides advice on other economic, trade and tariff matters.

What happens when the different parts of a vehicle become smarter than the vehicle itself? As we move toward the era of smart everything, hundreds of entities in a vehicle that communicate with each other, the vehicle and external systems create a need for identity orchestration so that all entities work as a conglomerate. Much like an orchestra without a conductor, without the ability to secure, control, and connect the link between a vehicle’s head unit, devices, and systems and to manage the ...
