Watts Unlimited Appoints New Leadership to Focus on Rapidly Expanding Critical Power Market

Driven by demand in the data centre and cloud space, Watts Unlimited to split current role of President into two new roles of Chairman and CEO.

MONTREAL, Aug. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Watts Unlimited ("Watts"), one of Canada's largest providers and manufacturers of industrial-scale critical power infrastructure, is pleased to announce the appointment of the company Founder and current President Jean-Michel Picard to the role of Chairman and Murray PJB Simser to the role of Chief Executive Officer. As Chairman, Mr. Picard will be responsible for overall corporate governance including strategic direction, key customers and partnerships, and the corporate development of Watts. Mr. Simser will take over management of all aspects of the company and lead a strategic growth plan that will include opening new markets, diversification of product lines, and growth capitalization.
