NORCROSS, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/14/14 -- DEUTZ Corporation is proud to announce an agreement whereby Clarke Fire Protection Products Inc. has acquired the intellectual property related to its DFP range of diesel fire pump drivers.
Clarke is the market leader in this segment with an organization that is dedicated to the global sales and service support in this highly specialized industry. "Their organization and global footprint offer us significant growth opportunities while allowing us to focus our resources on other activities," said Steve Corley, President & CEO of DEUTZ Corporation.
Dane Petrie, President of Clarke Fire Protection Products Inc., commented that, "The DEUTZ engines are a great addition to our portfolio, and we are very pleased that we can offer our customers a wider choice in fire pump diesel engine solutions."
As part of the transfer of intellectual property, DEUTZ Corporation and Clarke have entered into an engine supply agreement. "We look forward to developing our partnership with Clarke, who has the best capabilities and resources in this industry," added Steve Corley.
