The Dinerstein Companies, developers of eco-friendly luxury apartments and student housing communities in major U.S. cities, achieved LEED Gold certification for The Millennium High Street.

Utilization of an existing site in a high density area within close proximity to mass transit, retail and restaurants helped the 340 unit luxury apartment community meet LEED design requirements. High Street is located at 4410 Westheimer Road in the Houston Inner Loop near The Galleria, Uptown, and Greenway Plaza.
The Millennium High Street is 18 percent more efficient than energy code requires. Adding energy efficient windows and doors, gas appliances, and heat pumps helped achieve LEED Gold. During construction, Dinerstein diverted over 15,000 cubic yards of waste from landfills.
With an exceptional blend of green and luxury amenities, The Millennium High Street sets high standards for urban living. For a healthier indoor environment, High Street is a No Smoking building with high grade air filters and controlled fresh air ventilation, Green Label Plus carpet and padding, low VOC finishes, and carbon monoxide monitors.
