Cardenas Marketing Network Announces New Hire in Business Development

Former Telemundo and Univision Sales Executive Cesar Angulo Joins the Leading Cross-Cultural Experiential Marketing, Live Events Marketing and Digital Marketing Firm as Director of Business Development; Angulo Will Lead All New Business Development Effort

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - August 18, 2014) - Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), the nation's leading cross-cultural experiential marketing, live events marketing and digital marketing agency, announces the hiring of Cesar Angulo as the firm's new Director of Business Development. Angulo, former sales executive with NBC Universal/Telemundo (Chicago, Miami and San Francisco) and Univision (Chicago), brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence in leading and managing sales organizations and operations.

Angulo commenced his career in 1994 with the Chicago Tribune and then WGBO Univision (Chicago). In 2000, Mr. Angulo joined WSNS Telemundo (Chicago). Shortly after NBC Universal bought Telemundo, Angulo was quickly promoted to management positions within the company. He began as a Local and National Sales Manager for WSNS, then became Director of Sales for Telemundo and NBC (Miami) in the NBC Universal National Sales division, and then advanced to General Sales Manager for KSTS Telemundo (San Francisco).

In July of 2009, Angulo was hired by Titan Broadcasting as President & General Manager to launch their new affiliation to the Estrella Network for their full power station KTNC-TV 42 in San Francisco. Three years later Angulo also launched the Mundo Fox affiliation in San Francisco through KCNS-TV 38, a second full power station acquired by Titan Broadcasting. Cesar is now back in the city where his career started, excited and eager to make significant contributions in his new role at CMN.
