SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- 08/18/14 -- DPG Investments, LLC and affiliates are proud to announce another successful capital structuring and closing. DPG structured $9 million in limited partner and senior debt capital for the acquisition and renovation of a full service commercial hotel in Phoenix. DPG financed in excess of 95 percent of the costs. The property contains 284 rooms as well as restaurant, meeting and banquet space. After renovation the property will be flagged with a national brand.
Dan Galvanoni, DPG Chairman, commented, "This property is a hidden gem, with significant opportunity to create future value. The sponsor negotiated and purchased this asset at an excellent basis, way below current replacement values. I have a long-term business relationship with the operating partner. His values align with DPG's, hence our ability to structure this high-leverage financing for which a commitment was issued within 45 days of our term sheet."
Joe Joseph, DPG's managing director of real estate finance, observed, "From the moment I walked into the property I recognized the excellent potential."
