Meggitt Training Systems Demonstrates Next Generation Simulation Training at Land Forces 2014

Meggitt Training Systems, the leading supplier of integrated live fire and virtual weapons training systems, will join defense agencies and personnel from Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific region to demonstrate and discuss the latest in next generation simulation training systems at Land Forces 2014 in Brisbane, Australia, 22-25 September.

“For many years Meggitt Training Systems and its predecessors, Firearms Training Systems (FATS®) and Caswell Technologies, have been providing live fire and virtual training systems to Defence Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the Asia Pacific region,” said Leon Helmrich, Sales and Business Development Manager for Meggitt Training Systems Australia. “At Land Forces 2014, Meggitt will present the latest FATS® M100 advanced reality marksmanship training simulator.”

In the past, continually changing training requirements meant purchasing additional systems or equipment. The new FATS® M100 provides a flexible system architecture that rapidly evolves to meet current and future training needs and enhance combat readiness.

Configured with the FATS® M100, Meggitt Training Systems will provide private demonstrations of convertible, fully-sensored, tetherless BlueFire® simulators; 3D Marksmanship training mode and HD video courseware; a new wireless, tablet-based training tool; and automatic coaching tools.

Additionally, representatives will be available to discuss Meggitt’s motion platform training systems, to include convoy trainers, armoured vehicle trainers and simulators.
