National Averages Of CD Rates Unchanged As Investors Await Further Insight

TheStreet and RateWatch Report Top National & Regional CD Rate Issuer

NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RateWatch, a premier banking data and analytics service owned by TheStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: TST) reported today that national averages for CD rates of all durations this week remained unchanged as the Federal Reserve continued to keep the short-term federal funds rate at a range of zero to 0.25% since late 2008.

TheStreet Logo

"National averages of CD rates generally were unchanged as investors await further insight into the Federal Reserve's thinking on interest rates at an annual Aug. 21 gathering in Wyoming hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City," said Antoine Gara, Reporter for TheStreet. "The Fed, while it continues to reduce its monthly bond purchases in the face of a strengthening U.S. economy, continues to see significant underutilization in the labor market, indicating rates won't change for a considerable time after the end of its economic stimulus program."

Are a container and a virtual machine fundamentally the same or different? And how? Is one techn...
DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die. A Nutanix Enterprise Cloud has many benefits that provide the needed base for a true DevOps paradigm.
