Uplisting Boot Camp in NYC Was a Tremendous Success, Now Heading to Los Angeles

Conference Series Co-Hosted by ClearTrust and Equisolve

LUTZ, FL--(Marketwired - August 20, 2014) - Uplisting Boot Camp hosted its inaugural event Friday, August 8, in New York City. Organizers ClearTrust and Equisolve are now gearing up for their second Uplisting Boot Camp event to be held September 19, in Los Angeles.

The educational lunch in New York was attended by officers and directors of OTC-traded public companies interested in uplisting to a national Exchange. It featured an expert panel that deliberated on the costs, benefits, and strategies for a successful uplisting, as well as an interactive dialogue with executives in the audience. Attendees came away with a better understanding of the path to uplisting, as well as answers to challenging, topical questions.

"The Uplisting Boot Camp is a must attend event for companies that are considering moving to an exchange. Information the high quality expert panel provided is important, cannot easily be found on your own; and is helping CopyTele on our path forward," commented Ron Tenio, Vice President of Investor Relations at Copytele Inc.

The Uplisting Boot Camp conference series, co-hosted by ClearTrust and Equisolve, seeks to equip attendees with valuable information about financial and corporate governance requirements, the application process/cost, advantages of uplisting, and life as an exchange-listed public company.

It will make its west coast debut on Friday, September 19 in Los Angeles. The event will include a gourmet breakfast, highly informative panel, and multiple networking opportunities. In addition, each issuer in attendance at the Los Angeles event will receive a custom, confidential report to determine if they currently qualify for an uplisting, highlighting which areas, if any, would need to be addressed to qualify. This complimentary analysis is courtesy of event sponsor/panelist K&L Gates.

Lead sponsors include the New York Stock Exchange and the Society for Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. Additionally, the Los Angeles panel will include representatives from the NYSE, K&L Gates, Merriman Capital, AHT Insurance, and Lippert Heilshorn Investor Relations.

Here is everything I learned in those three days distilled into three short points.
DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. However, this is a routine occurrence with enterprise applications that need both a rich desktop web interface and strong mobile support. With recent technological advances from Isomorphic Software and others, rich desktop and tuned mobile experiences can now be created with a single codebase – without compromising functionality, performance or usability.
