Fluent Makes Inc. 500 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the U.S.

College Marketing Agency for Macy's, Microsoft and Zipcar Ranks #438 in U.S. and #12 in Mass. With 1,080% Growth

BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/14 -- College marketing agency Fluent announced today it made the 2014 Inc. magazine 500, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Fluent rose 155 positions over its 2013 Inc. 500|5000 listing, placing it 438th overall and 12th in Massachusetts as a result of more than 1000 percent growth over the past three years.

The 2014 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2010 to 2013. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2010. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2013. The minimum revenue required for 2010 is $100,000; the minimum for 2013 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
