SUMMERSIDE, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/14 -- Public Safety Canada
Today, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, met with stakeholders to discuss our Government's actions to ensure the safety of our communities, while standing up for the rights of law-abiding firearms owners.
-- On August 15, 2014, the Government of Canada announced the coming-into- force of the Firearms Records Regulations (Classification). These regulations will require the Registrar of Firearms to keep a record of every classification determination made by them, and prohibit the amendment of those records following one year after the day on which the record is made. -- On July 23, 2014, our Government announced the coming-into-force of an expanded Order Declaring an Amnesty Period (2014), so that persons in possession of a CZ 858 or one of the Swiss Arms family of rifles are protected from criminal prosecution, and can fully enjoy the use of their property, including at the firing range. -- The amnesty will expire on March 14, 2016. -- Additionally, the Government of Canada announced its intention to table the Common Sense Firearms Licensing Act, which would streamline licensing and eliminate red tape for law-abiding firearms owners.
"Our Government has a proud record of standing up for law abiding firearms owners, hunters, and sport shooters. With the support of stakeholders, we will continue to bring forward common sense measures to streamline firearms licensing and eliminate needless red tape for law-abiding gun owners. As we continue to make our communities better places to live, work and raise our families, my foremost priority will continue to be keeping the public safe, through common sense policies."

"We build IoT infrastructure products - when you have to integrate different devices, different systems and cloud you have to build an application to do that but we eliminate the need to build an application. Our products can integrate any device, any system, any cloud regardless of protocol," explained Peter Jung, Chief Product Officer at Pulzze Systems, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at @ThingsExpo, held November 1-3, 2016, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
