David Howe Announces SubscriberWise’s Intention to Be First in Nation to Integrate New Scoring Technology from FICO

SubscriberWise®, the nation’s first issuing consumer reporting agency for the communications industry, announced and reiterated its intention to be among the earliest adopters of the new scoring technology from FICO.

Following comments from the National Consumer Law Center’s Chi Chi Wu (Wu said she is hopeful that creditors will adopt the new FICO score), David Howe, president of SubscriberWise, has directly notified FICO and its data provider TransUnion that the company plans to be among the very earliest adopters of FICO Score 9.

According to an earlier announcement, SubscriberWise’s extraordinary effort to implement immediately is based largely on FICO’s news that the advanced technology will offer a more nuanced way to assess consumer collection information, bypassing paid collection agency accounts and offering a sophisticated treatment differentiating medical from non-medical collection agency accounts.

SubscriberWise members generate hundreds of thousands of federally compliant consumer credit reports and FICO scores every year.
