5th Forum of Business Marketing brings together industry icons leaving legacy for market

SAO PAULO, Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 300 executives took part in the 5th FORUM DE MARKETING EMPRESARIAL ['5th Forum of Business Marketing'] in Guaruja, Sao Paulo, and discussed success stories and the market for marketing in coming years.  Participants at the event analyzed strategies and spoke about consumer relations. "The FORUM brought together businessmen, advertising executives and leaders in communication. This event sets the standard for this sector," said Joao Doria Jr. President of LIDE – Grupo de Lideres Empresariais ['Group of Business Leaders'].

Lilian Miranda, Vice President for Marketing at NESTLE highlighted the strategy for strengthening KitKat in the Brazilian market, with a 65% increase in market share. Luiz Eduardo Baptista, President of SKY, disclosed billing of R$ 10 billion a year and growth of 1,500% in the past eight years.

Mauricio de Sousa, creator of the Turma da Monica ['Monica's Crowd'], related career obstacles, and noted that maintaining the company's DNA guaranteed its success and reputation. Andrea Cordeiro, Director of Marketing for ITAU UNIBANCO, spoke of the opening spot that became the "theme song of the World Cup." Nizan Guanaes, renowned in international advertising, affirmed that Brazilian marketing must make the most of the potential of the "Brazil brand."
