LIMASSOL, CYPRUS -- (Marketwired) -- 08/21/14 -- MooN dance studio has announced the next pole dancing championship named "PoleArt 2014". The Championship will be held in Monte Caputo concert hall, Limassol, Cyprus from 29 through 31 October 2014.
Masters of pole dancing from all over the world will take part in the competition and the best of them will perform in the final gala show. The prize fund will be, for the first time in pole dance history, the whopping $30,000.
The contestants will compete in five categories:
-- Professional Category (Men) -- Professional Category (Women) -- Semi-Professional Category (Women) -- Amateur Category (Women) -- Junior Category
The judges of the championship are the winners of various global and national pole dance competitions - Anna de Carvalho, Saulo Sarmiento, Steven Retchless, each with experience of working as a judge at such competitions in the past.
The aim of the event is the development of pole dancing as a genre. The organizers are striving to represent pole dancing and pole acrobatics as a new sport and to facilitate the increasing popularity of healthy lifestyle. One of the main goals of the championship is to bring dancers together with the aim to popularize pole dancing among Cypriots.
Dancers of any nationality are welcomed to take part in the contest. Representatives of all dance schools, studios and organizations, as well as any citizens over 18 years of age (apart from the Junior Category) who meet the qualification requirements, can join the competition. On the 31st of October 2014, as the final part of the championship, there will be a breathtaking gala show during which the contest winners will perform along with some of the judges.
The organizers report the number of applicants exceeding 100 and expect even more to be registered before the deadline. With such a crowd and attention, the event will conclude in a spectacular fashion brought by the magnificent Cirque du Soleil. The best circus artists will perform for the audience at the gala on the final day of the championship.

About Pole Dance Studio "MooN"
The studio was founded in 2012. The creators of the school are professional pole dance coaches and performers interested in the success of each student and burning with the desire to make pole dancing popular in Cyprus and around the world. The studio specializes in the pole dance genre, although you can also learn exotic dance and pole acrobatics.
The studio contains an expansive dancehall equipped with poles for large groups of students, a small hall that also has poles for individuals and couples, and a separate fitness and core training hall.
