SprezzaBox - a Subscription Box for the ‘Corporate Man’

Launched in April of this year, SprezzaBox is growing rapidly through social media channels and word of mouth. "While there are several other men's subscriptions out there, we feel our products cater to a specific market where this business model does not exist. This is proven through our organic growth as we have yet to pay for marketing," stated Philip Sblendorio, co-founder of SprezzaBox. "Most men who work in an office setting could benefit greatly from this service."

While you can typically expect a tie, socks, pocket square, cologne sample and a few other items in a box, the brands always change and the product mix varies. Aside from the essentials, SprezzaBox might also include smaller items like a shoehorn or something you don't realize can make your life a bit easier. The company is constantly teaming up with new and existing brands to create fresh ideas and provide effortless style to customers.

Sprezza derives from the Italian word Sprezzatura, meaning "conceal all art and make whatever one does appear without effort; or studied carelessness." Basically, you don't have to even try, just subscribe, wear, and look great. "We help men who don't want to spend too much money on their work wardrobe or waste hours sifting through ties at a department store… we do all that work for you," says Disi Fei, co-founder and Creative Director at SprezzaBox. "You don't even have to leave your couch. Just let our fashion experts help you look great."

More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smart...
When you focus on a journey from up-close, you look at your own technical and cultural history and how you changed it for the benefit of the customer.
