WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cydcor, the leading provider of in-person sales teams, announced that it has been voted one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This is the seventh time Cydcor has earned this prestigious this honor.

Cydcor Named Best Places to Work 2014

Cydcor – which has its corporate headquarters in Westlake Village – competed once again within a large pool of companies in the Los Angeles area. This year, the company ranked four places higher than it did in 2013. Cydcor's continued climb in the rankings is attributed to the company's firm commitment to team member satisfaction and having a strong company culture that attracts and retains the best and brightest team members.

Cydcor provides many benefits to team members, including:

  • A variety of customized self-development tools to help team members create and achieve their personal and professional goals
  • Paid volunteer hours, which team members can use at any charitable organization or facility of their choice
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits
  • Offsite team building days, where team members can learn, network, and share ideas

"We are extremely proud to have earned this distinguished honor, and we are committed to Cydcor continuing to be one of the "Best Places to Work," said Vera Quinn, chief operating officer. "We attribute Cydcor's success and growth to the great people who work here. We are honored to be given this recognition which was based largely on the ratings our team members gave us."

About the survey:
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county's economy, workforce and businesses. The list is made up of 100 companies, and Cydcor is ranked 30th for medium-sized companies.

Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.

Complete Internet of Things (IoT) embedded device security is not just about the device but involves the entire product’s identity, data and control integrity, and services traversing the cloud. A device can no longer be looked at as an island; it is a part of a system. In fact, given the cross-domain interactions enabled by IoT it could be a part of many systems.
