EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/21/14 -- GenerUS Marketing Solutions, Inc. (GenerUS), owner of Coupons4Giving (www.coupons4giving.ca), today announced it is adding two new functionalities to its e-commerce platform. The new functionalities enable Not-For-Profits (NPO's) to not only sell coupons to supporters, but now collect direct donations and sell tickets to their events on one platform.
Coupons4Giving is a social fundraising tool for not-for-profits that allows them to offer coupons to supporter from a wide range of merchants. Today's announcement means that Coupons4Giving now becomes the one stop fundraising platform for organizations, charities and community groups to manage all of their fundraising activities.
After a successful beta with 16 Not-For-Profits and 20 merchants, our top performing campaign generated $2000 over a 2-week period. Throughout the beta, users from the Not-For-Profit sector provided valuable feedback, expressing their biggest pain point were having to use a separate online solution for each fundraising activity. Typically the three key fundraising activities are accepting donations through an online portal; run campaigns to raise awareness or support special initiatives; and finally hold events.
Coupons4Giving users can now run a campaign that will engage their donors in a multitude of ways making it even easier to support their favourite causes. Coupons4Giving highly social marketplace allows customers to buy great deals from local merchants, add a donation to top up their support and then buy a ticket to an event. The team will be working with a select group of users to evaluate the "Buy A Ticket" feature to ensure the most value is being derived from this new service.
"We are disrupting the way Not-For-Profits raise money for their causes," stated Randy Thompson, Co-Founder & CEO of Coupons4Giving. "So, after a successful beta, the opportunity to provide integrated tools on one e-commerce platform will help make fundraising even easier. We think it is a real breakthrough, especially for NPO's without a fundraising infrastructure".
Coupons4Giving is fundraising tool that connects charities, Not-For-Profit organizations and community groups with local business and supporters.
