LAS VEGAS, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Filevine, LLC, a Nevada-based software company, announces open beta for its Filevine case management software available at www.filevine.com.
Filevine provides personal injury law firms with a cloud-based all-in-one case management software system. Filevine provides a platform for legal teams to work in one place with one goal--to move cases to resolution. Because the system is cloud-based, each team member can access the software from his or her smart phone, iPad or laptop.
Filevine includes the following features:
- Focused on Personal Injury
Unlike other online case management systems, Filevine is specifically designed to organize personal injury cases. It has specific tabs for medical bills, insurance information, and other information vital to a personal injury case. The Filevine team has plans to expand to other practice areas later.
- Real Time Feed
Communication is everything. The real-time feed lets team members share notes, ask questions and assign tasks. The feed reminders team members of upcoming deadlines, tasks and alerts. It keeps everyone focused on critical items in a case and moves the case towards resolution.
- Focused Interface
Filevine's interface allows firms to easily track cases overall as well as to view each case individually. The interface shows case details in an easy-to-use logical format including separate areas for client information, documents, insurance, medical bills, and notes.
- Direct Link Documents
In Filevine, all documents for a case are stored in one central location and eliminates the need to search email or hard copy files for elusive documents.
- Connected Calendar
All users assigned to a case have access to a connected calendar so everyone can see what deadlines are upcoming and who is assigned to which tasks.
Filevine is now open to beta users. Law firms who sign up during this time will receive discounted pricing, including a FREE option with basic alerts and reminders. A comprehensive package, including document storage, is $1 per case per month while a premium package, including in-app emailing, is $5 per case per month. The per-case billing lets attorneys bill the expense to the case at the time of settlement.
