The newly formed Independent American Party of U.S. Territories (IAPUST) has began working to register at local election offices in Guam, Puerto Rico, America Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands and elect regional coordinators for each U.S. territory.
The Independent American Party of U.S. Territories, Chief Coordinator and Chairman, Cary Lee Peterson tells the press that 'the Party's intentions are to display to U.S. civilians that they have viable political options that exist and that the Party will build brick by brick, day by day, God willing to see through a fair and righteous election season in 2016'. Peterson also says that IAPUST will focus on the 'Every vote counts' campaign following the completion of all local and federal filings for all five of the Territories of the United States that hold federal elections.
