'Frost the Trail' saw both avid and novice runners hitting the winding trails of MacRitchie in the cool morning air amidst lush greenery. Runners participated in one of two categories -- the 5 km team race as well as the 10 km individual race. Thomas Tay, a Senior Director at Frost & Sullivan was the organising chairman of this year's event whom presented the cheque to the beneficiary. He was grateful for the support received.
"It is inspiring to see so many people here today joining hands for a good cause. Besides benefiting the underprivileged, I am delighted to see more and more people pursuing a more active lifestyle. Together with the invaluable support of our corporate partners, we hope to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in the community through 'Frost the Trail'."
"In addition to raising funds for our adopted charity, we also hope to increase awareness about their needs so more corporations and individuals will get to know them and hopefully come forward to help so there is sustained aid for them.
