adQuota is Expanding in Poland

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, August 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

The Danish headquartered mobile SSP adQuota is expanding its Polish operation by acquiring mobile experienced entrepreneurs previously engaged in a joint venture with Adello Polska, adQuota's biggest competitor in Poland. The enterprise will continue under the brand adQuota Poland.

adQuota Poland is going to merge the operational activity of the two companies to form a new, bigger and improved entity. Since Adello is withdrawing from the Polish market to focus elsewhere, the shareholders of Adello in Poland, Looksoft and Rafal Staszkiewicz, will continue as minority shareholders of adQuota Poland. Rafal will become the Country Manager and Looksoft will be a strategic partner.

"The Polish market is growing and maturing at the moment, and we see a great opportunity to win the market," says adQuota Group CEO, Michael Buch Sandager. "Combining our activities strengthens our presence on the mobile advertising market in Poland, and at the same time, we are winning one of the best Country Managers in the business. Rafal is not just a mobile marketing expert, he is very experienced in mobile advertising and RTB - and he is a real mobile entrepreneur."

"Looksoft is one of the most experienced developers of mobile applications in Poland. For a few years now we have been observing the need for a greater integration of technological projects with mobile communication. Merging our expertise on the Polish market with the advertising potential of adQuota gives us new opportunities in the area of the comprehensive customer service," says Lukasz Makowski, founder and CEO of Looksoft.

"This is a great and obvious move for us, and we look very much forward to the new corporation," says Rafal Staszkiewicz. "adQuota is one of the leading premium mobile ad-networks in Europe. We boast the premium inventory, advanced technology and expertise of hundreds of successful campaigns, therefore, we are able to offer our customers a unique approach to mobile advertising," he adds.

One of the first very positive steps for the new company is a signed deal with a major publisher in Poland, where adQuota represents the publisher to develop the sales of the mobile inventory.

adQuota is a leading European player in premium mobile advertising with offices across the Nordics, Baltics, Poland, the United Kingdom and Spain. adQuota specializes in creating revenue streams for publishers of mobile media through Rich Media and Video advertising. adQuota has been on the Polish market since 2013 where the subsidiary was established.

Virtualization over the past years has become a key strategy for IT to acquire multi-tenancy, increase utilization, develop elasticity and improve security. And virtual machines (VMs) are quickly becoming a main vehicle for developing and deploying applications. The introduction of containers seems to be bringing another and perhaps overlapped solution for achieving the same above-mentioned benefits. Are a container and a virtual machine fundamentally the same or different? And how? Is one techn...
My team embarked on building a data lake for our sales and marketing data to better understand customer journeys. This required building a hybrid data pipeline to connect our cloud CRM with the new Hadoop Data Lake. DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die.
